Lindsey Nartker, Owner | Event Designer
After earning her BA in Hospitality Management from Madonna University and spending four years training and learning the business of weddings, Lindsey opened the doors to Lindsey Nartker Designs. Inspired by a great teacher, a love for hospitality, and everything beautiful, her desire is to create events that are a true and honest reflection of the couples she works with. By allowing couples to infuse their own personalities and ideas into their wedding, combined with exceptional planning and leadership, Lindsey feels that one has truly reached the epitome of a great event.
If not at an event, you can usually find Lindsey reading a good book, outside enjoying the great seasons that Michigan offers, or planning a crazy get-away with her husband Adam.
Lyndsay Johnson, Event Planner
A mother of four children (all under the age of six!), Lyndsay loves getting out of the house to work with couples planning their big day! Before wedding coordinating and becoming a mother, Lyndsay graduated from Pensacola Christian College and spent time as an elementary school teacher. After standing up in over a dozen weddings and coordinating for friends and family, Lyndsay figured it would be a natural transition to make a career out of it. Lyndsay joined the Linsdey Nartker Designs team in 2009.
After taking care of her children, Lyndsay enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, and going out to a great dinner with her husband.
Krista Mast, Event Planner
After graduating from the hospitality program at Michigan State University, Krista spent four years working for The Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids. After relocating with her husband Justin, Krista now calls Ann Arbor her home. Having worked with brides in numerous capacities while at The Amway, Krista is excited to be working with them during the planning process. Krista joined the Lindsey Nartker Designs team in 2009.
Krista loves trying new unique meals, hunting for bargains at the grocery store, and ending the night with a romantic comedy!
Melissa Russell, Event Planner
Melissa graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. She found her passion for events while interning at Hour Media and planning events for Hour Detroit and DBusiness magazines. In addition, she completed an internship Walt Disney World in Orlando, where she learned how a successful business is run, how to create “magical moments”, and how simple it is to make someone feel special.
When not busy with brides, Melissa works as a hairstylist in Shelby Township and enjoys volunteering in the community. She absolutely loves warm weather, beautiful and unique things, homemade pasta and pizza, playing tennis, reading good books, and traveling. Melissa joined the Lindsey Nartker Designs team in 2010.
