A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to check out an amazing, unique, and historical venue.  I absolutely love history and think the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant (also known as the “Birthplace of the Model T”) is such a fun option, especially if you have a love for cars or Detroit in general.

This three level, 67,000 square foot building is the first building built and owned by the Ford Motor Company, and where the first Model T was assembled in 1908. It is now open to the public as a City, State, and Federal Historic Site, a National Historic Landmark, and a National Heritage Site.

When Krista sent me a link to Sharon Clarks website this week, I was beyond excited!  While I don’t know Sharon or really anything about her photography studio, Smittin Photography, I knew immediately that I loved the brides that she works with!

It’s Friday and it’s at least a million degrees outside.  I think that combination calls for a few laughs before you embark on your weekend plans.  Yesterday Adam Czap, a local Detroit photographer, posted this video on his blog and I couldn’t resist sharing.  It’s hilarious and just another reason why it’s important to hire professionals!
